SEAN TOWNLEY
Sean Townley (b. Boulder, Colorado, 1983) lives and works in Los Angeles. He received his BFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 2008 and his MFA from the University of Southern California in 2012. Townley has exhibited in the United States and Europe. His exhibitions include “Historunner”, USC Roski School of Fine Arts, Los Angeles (2012); “The New Wright Biennial”, New Wright Gallery, Los Angeles (2012); “Darkroom”, Night Gallery, Los Angeles (2011); “Heads on Poles”, Western Exhibitions, Chicago (2011); “The Learning Room”, Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven (2008); “Bizarre”, Galerie des Artistes, Strasbourg, France (2007). Townley has been written about in Art in America, The Art Newspaper, LA Weekly, Flash Art, Art Info, and LA Confidential. He currently has a solo exhibition at Michael Jon Gallery, Miami, and has upcoming solo exhibitions at Antoine Levi Gallery, Paris, and Night Gallery, L.A.
